Welcome to Soul Creation

I’m Paulette and I create dot mandala paintings, crystal grids, string art and lino prints. For me, art is the way I express myself – and the bonus is I also find it meditative and relaxing! I offer workshops for events and parties to help others tap into their creative side and make something special and I’d love you to join me on a creative journey.

I’m inspired by sacred geometry – it makes so much sense to me. I find creating repetitive, colourful patterns that interlink in a methodical way satisfying. Once you start to look, you see it everywhere in so many natural forms such as snowflakes, tree branches, flowers and shells. I also discovered that anything I created using this as my starting point always turned out looking good and I realised you can’t go ‘wrong’ working in this way! That’s why I love to offer workshops and parties – so that I can help others create something beautiful too.

A lot of my work is based around mandalas. Mandalas are circles contained within a square and arranged into sections that are all organized around a single, central point often forming concentric circles, geometric shapes, and elaborate patterns. The best bit is there are hundreds of patterns you can create.

I live in Christchurch in Dorset and I’m also available for commissions and would love to work with you, please get in touch to chat about what you’d like and find out more.

My Work

“I went to one of Paulette’s Dot Mandala workshops and had a fabulous time creating a small painting to take home with me. Paulette helped me to choose complementary colours which would “pop” and then encouraged us all to experiment with dots and swooshes of all different sizes. Paulette was professional and empathetic and soon had us creating very individual masterpieces! I loved that we weren’t all just copying the same thing and that we each had our own style. The workshop was a great success and I highly recommend you to go as you come away uplifted and with your own creation to show off. Thanks Paulette!”
