Dot Mandala Workshops at Freezone

  • Gaunts House Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 4JD (map)

I’m holding two Dot Mandala Workshops at Freezone this year, one for adults and one for children.

The repetitive act of creating dots helps to calm a busy mind and give a feeling of inner peace. I always start my workshops with a short mindful meditation to help us come into the present moment and put our thoughts aside for a while so that we can enjoy being in the moment mindfully.

Mandala in Sanskrit means circle. All mandalas are circles contained within a square and arranged into sections that are all organized around a single, central point often forming concentric circles, geometric shapes, and elaborate patterns. The Circle of Life is at the core of many Dot Mandalas and symbolises unity and wholeness. It represents the cycle of birth, growth, death, and rebirth.

Freezone is a unique gathering where mindfulness meets celebration, and where every beat and brushstroke is in tune with a higher purpose. Immerse yourself in an oasis of positive vibes, personal growth, and community connection. The Big Freezone is a tapestry of music and wellness, interwoven with eco-conscious practices and a commitment to social responsibility.

All materials are provided and these workshops are free to attend.
